Trailer & Review
Below, I will leave you the trailer of the movie:
This movie is one more example of what celebrities go through in show business. A cinematic masterpiece that tells us the raw life of a composer and orchestra conductor who, after achieving fame, became an eccentric musician who after getting married and having a family, lived years of depression and melancholy while his talent took him to the top. Bradley Cooper plays a passionate and realistic Leonard Bernstein, beyond what everyone saw on stage, a man with problems and a strong dependency, besides having a partner who suffered and loved along with him.
It is no surprise to see Bradley Cooper in several facets at the same time in a film of this style, in which he has participated writing the script, producing and directing the film, in addition to playing perfectly the great "Maestro" throughout the film. And the talent that this actor has to represent so perfectly such a famous musician as Leonard Bernstein is incredible. The moments in which he enters the role of symphony orchestra conductor are my favorites, without a doubt.

The rest of the cast also did very well, Carrey Mulligan did an impressive job of playing Felicia Montealegre in her different facets, starting as a passionate Broadway actress to being a wife and mother who lives and suffers with a very turbulent relationship with her husband, Leonard Bernstein. The chemistry that Mulligan develops with Cooper is something special, leading us to witness moments of tension, hatred, frustration and sadness as life itself can make us feel.
The photography, the way of directing and the incredible soundtrack that this film has are details that should not be overlooked. Especially for the soundtrack, which relives the golden moments of classical music, which along with the "Maestro" Leonard Bernstein has influenced and inspired more than one generation both in the United States and the rest of the world. This story, biography and honorable mention is a masterpiece for both the world of film and the world of music in general. The life of a musical genius who touched millions of hearts around the world.
Personally, I give it a score of 8/10 for the music and drama genre.
