A Tv series created by Taylor Sheridan and John Linson , Yellowstone is bringing us the story of powerful Dutton ranch who owns the largest ranch in America.
The plot is based in Montana and presents the fight of John Dutton , played by the charming and talented Kevin Costner for acquiring more land.
The family drama and the dream to leave a legacy is bringing the characters in unexpected situations where political power, revenge, love, loyalty are mainly driving them to achieve their goal.
One of my favorites characters are Beth Dutton ( John’s daughter) and Rip Wheeler ( a loyal cowboy rised by John Dutyon and is Beth’s lover).
Beth is presented as a villain with a lot of hurt history during her life. She has a fierce loyalty for her father and loves Rip.
You have to watch the series to see her brilliant acting and character.
Sometimes she is funny by her dialogue and behavior.
Rip is coming from a violent family, characteristic that is following him , but he is a loyal person in respect for John Dutton. Many times he acts impulsive but has a great heart and power of understanding others.
His relationship with Beth is building him as a loving and loyal character to her. The 2 are strongly bounded and for a lovable couple.
But , in my opinion each character is well defined and unique no matter how bad or good they are.
I am strongly recommending it to watch. The first 3 of 5 seasons are in Netflix. A 6th season is planned in 2025.
Right now I am watching seas 4. Each season has 10 episodes of almost 1h watch.
