Olympiacos is advancing on two signings to reinforce the right-back position, according to reports from Greece. Jose Luis Mendilibar has already identified two players who fit the profile he is looking for.

According to information from To10.gr journalist Nikos Kotsis, Olympiacos is advancing on the potential signings of right-backs Triantafyllos Tsapras (Levadiakos) and Pablo Maffeo (RCD Mallorca).

"It is also no secret that Triantafyllos Tsapras is gathering the information that has made the club from Piraeus choose him. And for this reason, careful actions are being taken," Kotsis wrote on Monday.

The cited journalist explained that, in addition to Tsapras, 24, head coach Mendilibar has also identified Maffeo, 28, who was recently relegated to the second tier of Spanish soccer and does not plan to stay there.

"For the right-back position, Olympiacos also has the case of Pablo Maffeo in its hands. The information about the case of the 28-year-old right-back is specific," Kotsis explained.

He added, "The Red and Whites have begun to look into the case of the Argentine international (with a Spanish passport) for the right end of the defense. Maffeo, who is represented by Fali Ramadani, does not want to follow Mallorca to La Liga 2. And his case pleases Mendilibar. These days, in fact, there are discussions, with Olympiacos being active in the case."
