Unhappy with his role as a substitute, a Real Madrid star could make a Premier League move, per reports.

Eduardo Camavinga is reportedly unhappy with his role at Real Madrid. In the year that, following the departures of Toni Kroos and Luka Modric, the Frenchman was supposed to establish himself definitively in the starting lineup of the Spanish club, he has instead seen his place remain that of a luxury substitute.

Despite earning minutes and being considered an important player, Thiago Pitarch beating him to a spot in the club's starting eleven has been the final push for him to consider a change of scenery.

Although his desire has always been to stay at Real Madrid and, in fact, he still hopes to change his situation, Eduardo Camavinga does not want to be a perpetual substitute at the club. The French midfielder, according to Spanish journalist Rodra, is beginning to make moves toward a potential summer departure from the club.

The Premier League is where the player has the biggest market, and several interested clubs would be willing to offer between 50 and 60 million euros ($54 million and $65 million) to close the deal, according to this information. Real Madrid, for its part, would not consider offers under 60 million ($65 million). The club's plan is to get as much as possible for the player, and there is also the idea of going to the market to reinforce the midfield with a world-class holding midfielder.

"I'm told he is moving with agents, intermediaries, and such, looking for a possible exit for the summer. I don't know what he really wants; they are making moves, but the intermediaries are the ones interested in there being a transfer. Maybe at the end of the season, he says that, despite everything, he wants to stay. But the activity is happening," Rodra said on Iñaki Angulo's YouTube channel.

For the moment, Real Madrid does not seem especially interested in a sale, but it is not ruling out listening to offers either: "At Real Madrid, there is little movement; this is a matter of external elements. Only, they are not telling you he is untransferable," the journalist explained about the Frenchman's future.

The sale of Camavinga could be one of Real Madrid's main avenues to raise money to reshape the squad: "Camavinga is one of the players they can get money for. Also Brahim (Diaz). Because, for example, it could be (Franco) Mastantuono, but they are not going to sell him. And (Arda) Guler, from within the club, they say they don't want to sell him. The big name that could be, which has now changed the picture quite a bit, would be Vinicius (Junior)," Rodra said.

Thus, the possibility of Camavinga leaving Real Madrid at the end of the season is on the table, and it remains to be seen to what extent the player pushes to leave or to stay. The club is not prioritizing the Frenchman's future because he is under contract, but it will listen to offers if he wants to leave.
