Although the situation appears to have been stabilized at Real Madrid, the club is not going to risk another gray season like the past ones and the current one.

The World Cup in the United States, Mexico, and Canada could be key for the future of Real Madrid. The Spanish club will reorganize its roster for next season based on the performance of potential signings (the club will try to acquire a standout star) and possible sales, which it hopes will increase in value during the World Cup.

It will not be until after the World Cup that Real Madrid makes moves with sales; up to four are expected to generate at least 150 million euros, according to reports.

It is true that head coach Alvaro Arbeloa is improving the team, at least lately, but it is also true that both the club and the fans expect much more going forward. And this can only be done in one way: by transferring players. There will be at least one or two major sales, but Real Madrid is in no hurry to finalize them.

The club's objective, according to OK Diario (h/t Defensa Central), is to sign a center back and a creative central midfielder, in addition to securing a possible return among the academy players who are excelling away from the Bernabeu this season and for whom there is a buyback option: Nico Paz, Jacobo Ramon, Victor Munoz, or Chema Andres. To do all this, an investment possibly greater than last season's (186 million) will be needed, during which an additional 74 million was generated from the Club World Cup. That will not be the case this year.

For this reason, Real Madrid needs to sell players who are highly valued in the market but lack the playing time they desire in the squad. These could be players such as Lunin, Camavinga, or Brahim.

Despite the interest in selling, Real Madrid's plan is not to make moves before the World Cup. A strong performance from players could cause their price to skyrocket, while it will be difficult for them to lose value if they do not have a good World Cup.

According to the report, Real Madrid has no intention of renewing Carvajal, Rudiger, and David Alaba. And also to transfer Mendy, Fran Garcia, or Ceballos, who are not in the club's future plans. This implies a summer with eight or nine departures and surgical precision in signing the right players to replace them. Not only based on the market, but also on the permanent promotion of players to the first team, such as Thiago Pitarch.

The new Real Madrid has been taking shape for weeks, but until after the World Cup, only minor moves will be made in building the future squad. It will be after the World Cup that the big earthquake in the form of sales and a major signing or two will be triggered.
