Real Madrid eyes Juventus's defender, who has also been linked to Barcelona and Manchester City.

Alex Grimaldo and Nuno Mendes have recently been named to strengthen Real Madrid's left-back position. However, from Italy emerges the possibility that the Spanish club could secure the services of Andrea Cambiaso, a 26-year-old player from Juventus. He has also been linked to FC Barcelona and Manchester City.

Specifically, the outlet Sportitalia has reported that the Spanish club has begun discussing this player, who stands out for his high work rate on the left flank. He has a good touch on the ball for crossing and combining, as well as a notable ability to read the game tactically. He is versatile, as he can also play as an interior midfielder and poses an offensive threat thanks to his attacking projection.

It is true that he has a contract valid until 2029, but it is likely that the Italian club could approve his departure for around 30 million euros. Within the Madrid club, no decision has been made on the matter, although it is possible that they will opt to reinforce that position sooner rather than later.

This is all because Ferland Mendy is inconsistent due to recurring injuries, and Fran Garcia's level raises doubts among the club's higher-ups. In fact, he had already done so with Bournemouth, but ultimately decided to stay with the Spanish club.

Authoritative voices from Valdebebas emphasize that the upcoming summer is expected to be exciting for Real Madrid. There will be developments in both arrivals and departures. Thus, it is feasible to think that Florentino Perez has a series of significant moves in mind.

In particular, the technical department considers the defensive line and the midfield to be the two positions most in need of reinforcement, as they have caused problems for several seasons now, even in those that ended with wins in important titles such as LaLiga or the Champions League.

Although there are still several months left until the end of the competition, the upper echelons at Chamartin are managing a series of names to consider. For defense, Ibrahima Konate is gaining strength, as he has yet to renew with Liverpool. The return of Jacobo Ramon is also not ruled out, although it is most likely that he will continue for another season at Como.

Regarding the midfield, there is constant talk about players such as Kees Smith, Adam Wharton, Angelo Stiller, and even Rodri Hernandez. However, that is another matter entirely.
