Ukraine calls on India to take an active part in ending the Russian-Ukrainian war, Deputy Foreign Minister Emine Dzhaparova said in an interview with CNBC TV18.
"We believe that the activation of political dialogue at the highest level is the first step on the way to this great goal. My President has requested a telephone conversation with the Prime Minister of India. We are also looking forward to the opportunity to one day meet with Narendra Modi in Kyiv," Dzhaparova stressed.
The deputy minister clarified that Kyiv expects to be invited to participate in G20 events.
She also warned that India's dependence on Russia in the energy and military spheres puts the country at risk, and called on India to "be pragmatic".
