Reporting the Ukraine war from inside Russia - BBC News

BBC News Russia Editor Steve Rosenberg reflects on covering the Ukraine war from Moscow as the first anniversary of the conflict approaches.

Steve finds it challenging to report on the story due to the "parallel reality" created by President Putin within Russia.

According to Steve, Western journalists are often treated like enemies while reporting from Moscow.

Despite the challenges, Steve still enjoys the company of his Russian friends.
