As DHS extends reach into county elections offices, Republicans urge continued local control
As DHS extends reach into county elections offices, Republicans urge continued local control by Mittelstadt, Natalia; Just the News; March 15th, 2023 As the #federal #government extends its reach into county #elections offices by funding #cybersecurity services through the Department of Homeland Security, #Republicans, state and local officials are arguing that election administration should stay local. County elections offices across the U.S. are receiving ambiguous "cybersecurity services" free of charge from the nonprofit Center for Internet Security (#CIS), which has played a key role in flagging purported election "misinformation" for Big Tech censorship and collaborates with other left-wing nonprofits and the #Democrat-connected cybersecurity firm #CrowdStrike. https://bit.ly/3mck6uX #electionIntegrity #electionSecurity

Zuckerbucks minus Zuckerberg: States, counties clash over new sources of private election funding
While many states and counties across the country have either restricted or banned the use of private money to fund public elections offices, a nonprofit with progressive #Democrat ties that served as the key link in the 2020 #Zuckerbucks funding chain is still finding loopholes in some counties as states seek to tighten up their laws. The U.S. Alliance for #Election Excellence, a project of the Center for Tech and Civic Life (#CTCL), is awarding funds to counties and municipalities under the Centers for Election Excellence program. The alliance will provide $80 million over five years States and municipalities are clashing over whether the funds should be accepted or banned. "Analysis: Kari Lake Takes Election Case to AZ Supreme Court"
by Beanz, Tracy;Uncover DC;March 5th, 2023; At issue are the lower court rulings that fundamentally change how #elections are handled in Arizona, and they fundamentally change them because they ignore all of the rules. Kari Lake has taken her election challenge to the #Arizona Supreme Court. The AZ Supreme Court has already granted the motion to expedite and set a schedule. Defendant response due 3/13. Amicus Curiae is due by 3/16 (I expect many of these.) The court will decide whether to hear arguments on the case in conference on 3/21. #MaricopaCounty DID NOT FOLLOW Chain of Custody regulations. That failure allowed 35,563 votes to be “injected” into the count. Maricopa County did not perform Logic and Accuracy Testing as required, which led to tabulators rejecting ballots at 2/3 of the vote centers over 7k times every 30 minutes— from 6 AM to 8 PM Maricopa County violated the law when it did not follow its own procedures for signature verification [...] This is not laches. Equal protection and due process claims are asserted due to the disproportionate number of #Republican voters disenfranchised or burdened on #ElectionDay. Several people argue that there was “no evidence” of any fraud or issue that could render the results of the gubernatorial election uncertain. That is the standard of law that should be used when courts consider an election. The lower courts refused to use this standard, instead using the “clear and convincing” standard, which was not applicable. Even so, there WAS evidence of fraud, and there were major issues in that election. [ Lower courts errors included: • Standard being used in adjudicating election cases • Interpreting time-requirements in counting ballots • Ignored >30K illegal insertions at an unauthorized location • Ignored Maricopa not performing appropriate equipment tests as required • Ignored intentional equipment malfunctions that disenfranchised R. voters • Dismissing signature verification issues & illogically applying "#laches" • Ignored Equal Protection & Due Process requirements ] Click link for full article

How the 1619 Project Deceives. "Forgetting vs. Overcoming: Abuses of History and the 1619 Project"
The #1619Project [...] teaches students the wrong way to go about remembering. It abuses remembering [& forgets] #America’s history of reconciliation and unity on race. [It frames] the nation’s identity as irredeemably stained and systemically, irreparably flawed. One must ask, for what purpose? By scrubbing racial reconciliation out of US history, the 1619 Project misrepresents [...] forces at work besides race. The 1619 Project purports to correct “a history that never happened.” But it offers a new history that never happened by systematically excluding any traces of black-white unity, cooperation, and common goals from America’s history, including in the abolition movement, the #CivilWar, the Civil Rights Movement, or even today. The general problem of historical #reductionism plagues a whole line of 19th-century German Enlightenment philosophers of history, from Kant [(in some areas)] to Hegel to Marx. Like the 1619 Project, they all have tunnel vision, using interesting facts and insights in the service of theories that try to reduce the causes of history to [...] of a single thing, while ignoring the infinite variety of other causes at work. https://quillette.com/2023/03/02/forgetting-vs-overcoming-abuses-of-history-and-the-1619-project/ #education #parentalChoice

Vaccine injury compensation history
The United States federal government, through the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is aware of vaccine related injuries and deaths. They track compensation for vaccine complications with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, VICP, and acknowledges that even the data they present is only about 30% of all vaccine complications compensations from just the VICP which itself would be a small subset of all vaccination complications and side effects. From 1989 to 2019, the number of compensated awards and total costs by VICP have been increasing which gives an indication of overall vaccine harm for the past twenty-years has been increasing (keeping in mind these are a subset of all known cases and that too is a subset of all true cases) as is demonstrated in figures 12 and 13 (simply made in Excel using data from the source) (inflation adjustments using consumer-price-indexes, CPI, was done with the Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI Inflation Calculator) “Vaccine Injury Compensation Data.” Health Resources & Services Administration. Updated May 2020.
