Vaccine injury compensation history

Jan 24, 2023 7:06 AM

The United States federal government, through the Health Resources & Services Administration (HRSA) is aware of vaccine related injuries and deaths. They track compensation for vaccine complications with the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program, VICP, and acknowledges that even the data they present is only about 30% of all vaccine complications compensations from just the VICP which itself would be a small subset of all vaccination complications and side effects.

From 1989 to 2019, the number of compensated awards and total costs by VICP have been increasing which gives an indication of overall vaccine harm for the past twenty-years has been increasing (keeping in mind these are a subset of all known cases and that too is a subset of all true cases) as is demonstrated in figures 12 and 13 (simply made in Excel using data from the source) (inflation adjustments using consumer-price-indexes, CPI, was done with the Bureau of Labor Statistics CPI Inflation Calculator)
