On September 27, 2018, Vladimir Pozner, a renowned Russian-American journalist and broadcaster, was a guest speaker at an event hosted by the Program in Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies at Yale and the Poynter Fellowship for Journalism. He discussed the effects of US foreign policy towards Russia post-Soviet Union and shared his thoughts on various topics brought up by the audience, including alleged Russian interference in the 2016 US presidential elections, the Skripal poisoning, and the condition of independent media in Russia and the US.
