The Cowboys could be without three players for Sunday night's NFC showdown against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Dallas Cowboys are gearing up for a huge NFC clash on Sunday night against the Minnesota Vikings as coach Brian Schottenheimer's 6-6-1 team looks to bounce back from the poor loss to the Detroit Lions in Week 14.

All week, eyes have been on corner Trevon Diggs as he continues his ramp-up period while trying to get that "consistency" Dallas wants from him, while tight end Jake Ferguson suffered a minor calf tweak at practice, and veteran defensive end Jadeveon Clowney has been a question mark as far as his Week 15 status.

But could all three take their place on Sunday night as Dallas is at home and a 7-point favorite?

The Cowboys dropped their injury report on Friday, and it isn't exactly good news.

Left guard Tyler Guyton, who is dealing with an ankle sprain, has been ruled out with head coach Brian Schottenheimer stating the ankle injury is "tricky" to deal with for a "320-plus pound man."

    Now onto the others.

Diggs (ankle), Ferguson (calf), and Clowney (hamstring) are all listed as questionable for Sunday night, with Schottenheimer stating Clowney would again be a game-time decision, so the veteran hasn't completely overcome his hamstring injury, which could mean he misses his second straight game.

Ferguson could also be a game-time decision, but Schottenheimer has detailed his confidence in Brevny Spann-Ford, Luke Schoonmaker, and Princeton Fant to step up if needed.

As for Diggs, who is dealing with a knee issue, he's been limited all week, so his status for Sunday night is in as much doubt as anyone.

    But he doesn't think so.

When asked if he's ready to play on Friday, Diggs was confident.

    "Yeah," the All-Pro said.

And when asked if he thinks he'll play, he was assured.

    "Yeah," he added.

So the Cowboys think he's questionable but Diggs says he's good to go ... so make of that what you will.

Diggs then went on to say that he's "ready" to play, so all signs, at least from his perspective point to him playing against the Vikings.

Time will tell if the Cowboys feel differently.
