Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, Binance founder, may be released from custody today, two days ahead of his scheduled September 29 release, due to U.S. Bureau of Prisons rules allowing early release if the date falls on a weekend or holiday. CZ was sentenced to four months in prison in April after pleading guilty to violating the Bank Secrecy Act by failing to implement an adequate KYC program at Binance.
