According to recent research papers from institutions like BCG, State Street, and the Financial Stability Board, RWA tokenization could potentially reach over $600 billion in AUM by 2030. BCG, in collaboration with Aptos Labs and Invesco, described tokenization as the "third revolution in asset management," fueled by rising investor demand and expected regulatory advances like stablecoins and CBDCs. State Street's report highlights bonds as particularly well-suited for tokenization due to their recurring costs, complexity manageable through smart contracts, and collateral requirements that blockchain technology can streamline. While private equity shows transformative potential, regulatory and technical hurdles constrain adoption for public equities and real estate. Source: Cointelegraph
