By 2030, a quarter of S&P 500 firms could hold Bitcoin as a treasury asset, predicts Elliot Chun of Architect Partners, driven by pressure on treasury managers to experiment with BTC. Currently, only Tesla and Block hold Bitcoin, meaning at least 123 more firms would need to adopt it to meet this forecast. While MicroStrategy (MSTR) has seen a 2,000% stock surge since adopting Bitcoin, Chun warns that replicating its success may be unrealistic. Despite Bitcoin’s unproven status as a treasury hedge, tech leaders like Cathie Wood and Jack Dorsey predict BTC could hit $500K–$1M by 2030, further fueling corporate interest.
