In response to regulatory pressure, Altman's Worldcoin has decided to prohibit "children and adolescents" in Chile from providing biometric data in exchange for WLD tokens.

Their decision follows a legal challenge from Chilean lawyer Rodrigo Lagos, who discovered in March that his 17-year-old daughter had her iris scanned without his consent.

Regulators began scrutinizing Worldcoin in April to ensure consumers are fully informed about the use of their data.
