A group of experts joined Roundtable to discuss the May 2022 crypto crash. In this segment, Alex Johnson discusses networks, crypto investing, and mentorship.

"Once you're sold on the future of money or the future of finance, all of these things, you want to help people build," says Johnson. "We basically all operate as nodes in this network."

This, he explains, is a signature divide between traditional finance and the emerging world of blockchain and decentralized finance.

"That's the distinct difference between crypto and Wall Street—Wall Street is all about gatekeeping and keeping people out, determining who's in the circle. Bitcoin and crypto is about creating a network, which means involving everybody."

The more we can do that," he concludes, "the faster adoption happens."
