Venmo Unveils Crypto Transfers
Over 50% of Venmo customers favor the platform for security and accessibility over traditional crypto exchanges.
Starting in May, Venmo customers will have the ability to transfer crypto to other accounts, including PayPal accounts and outside wallets and exchanges.
The company says it's "delivering more choice and flexibility" to the crypto-curious market by providing transfer options.
Over the last year, the company has noted that over three-quarters of Venmo's customers using crypto are holding their crypto. Meanwhile, in the first few months of this year, almost half of crypto customers were continuing to grow their crypto assets, according to the company.
Over 50% of Venmo customers favor the platform for security and accessibility compared to traditional crypto exchanges, it added.
