Silk Road founder Ross Ulbricht, recently freed after over 11 years in prison, raised 12.31 Bitcoin (around $1.3 million) by auctioning personal and prison-era items, including IDs, paintings, and clothing, through the Scarce City marketplace. Soon after, his donation wallet received a mysterious 300 BTC ($31 million) transfer, sparking speculation about its origin. Speaking at the Bitcoin 2025 conference, Ulbricht thanked supporters, described the challenges of reentering society, and urged the crypto community to uphold values of freedom, decentralization, and unity.
