At the Bitcoin Conference in Las Vegas, Strategy (MSTR) Executive Chairman Michael Saylor addressed how the company would respond if its multiple to net asset value (mNAV) dropped below 1, referencing past bear market conditions. Emphasizing Strategy’s operational flexibility, Saylor explained the company would sell its preferred instruments (STRK, STRF) and repurchase common shares to restore value and investor confidence. Unlike closed-end trusts like GBTC, Strategy can dynamically manage its capital structure through leverage, recapitalization tools, and at-the-market offerings (ATMs) across multiple capital markets—a core strength, he argued, that reinforces the company’s resilience and long-term value.
