X has partnered with Visa to launch a digital wallet and peer-to-peer payments service called the X Money Account. This service, announced by CEO Linda Yaccarino, will allow users to move funds between traditional bank accounts and their digital wallet and make instant peer-to-peer payments, similar to Zelle or Venmo. This marks X’s first step in building a financial ecosystem, part of Musk’s vision for an “everything app.” X Payments LLC is now licensed in 41 states and registered with FinCEN, with the X Money service expected to launch in Q1. Initially, it will enable creators to accept and store payments directly on the platform. Will you use the X digital wallet? Source: CNBC
