The one thing I like of the follow feature is that it does not filter your timeline. If you are on Twitter, Instagram or LinkeIn, your timeline is shaped by the people you follow. Here the timeline is common for everyone and you just get notified when the one you follow has written a new post. This is consistent with bbs view: you are member of a board because you are interested in the topic. Hence, you get to see all content. The follow feature might not show its usefulness with low number of posts… but for the ones that were here prior to the great reset, we know that with 1000 posts per day you want to make sure you have a tool that allows you not to miss out on your favorite content creators.
