More data is required for posts on BBS Network Hello. I'm here again to share something with you, taking advantage of the fact that we will continue to give suggestions to the BBS Network Developers to implement them on the platform. This idea came to me reading the last post that KryptoKitty shared. She was talking about suggesting adding the numbers of the times a video that you have shared in your post has been played, as is done on YouTube, TikTok or any other video social network.
That got me thinking about a lot of other data that can be implemented in a BBS Network pots. Of course, the views, if they are useful for something since only the ones that the post receives count and not the video (unless a brand pays for views on the platform), They are useless for anything other than data to be taken into account. On the other hand, there is other data that may be more useful and interesting, since it can help the editor of the post to improve, either its content or its promotion.
The data that I suggest adding are the following:
- Data from the countries where the posts are visited.
- Data from the sites where the "unregistered" visits come.
- Data from the search engines and keywords used to find the post on the internet.
- Data on how long the post has been receiving visits.
- Data on how long users have stayed to read said post.
These data can be displayed by numbers, graphs or images. As an example, the data shown by social networks on the reach of the publications (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twich, Medium, Reddit, etc.) can be used.
You could add a button or an additional option in the posts where a small sale is displayed with this data. This will further help, as Content Creators, to recognize where the visits we receive in our posts come from and thus improve our promotion strategy, focusing more on the sites which are most frequented. You can also add a small section in our profile, next to the publications and rewards, a section called "Analytics" where the suggested data of the last shared posts. This would change depending on the Board where they are.
SEO is necessary for the growth of BBS Network
Of course, for some data, SEO tools would have to be implemented, such as "key words" which, if the platform were indexed in the Google search engine, would be easier to detect these data. What's more, if this is implemented, as I already mentioned in a post a while ago, the reach and the average number of users would increase a lot without the need to promote anything.
Millions of users use Internet search engines to find answers or research about a certain topic. So why not make the BBS Network, a site where many topics are discussed, visible in the results of said search engines? I consider that not doing this is a million-dollar loss of visits and new interested users. Once again, I have already mentioned this SEO issue in more detail in a post, however, I consider that it is necessary to emphasize this again since this function or tool is essential for the growth of the platform.
