Ad Campaign Report for my experiment
Mar 10, 2022 12:34 PM
I ran an experimental ad campaign on my withdraw to coinbase tutorial
I spent $1 and my CPM was $2.11 boosted to $152.11. The banner ran for about 2 hours between 09:00 to 11:00 CET on 2022-03-10.

Banner Clicks
It looks as though the post itself got only one impression and that was probably me.
I'm not sure if it was just because it was a single post or that nobody was interested in the post or that the banners just don't get many clicks. I can find no way of determining exactly how many clicks an ad banner gets. Therefore success in terms of clickthroughs can't be determined for this campaign. I will have to figure out some indirect way of measuring this for future experiments.
We need a report on how many clicks the banner registered during the campaign as well as a better report as I outlined in my earlier post.
Ad Campaign Report
I grabbed my banner page source very close to the time my ad campaign ended and ran a python script over it to convert it to csv so that I was better able to work with the data.
The inexact times are not great to work with so I've ignored them in this report.
In total there were 521 impressions during the time my banner was running.
154 posts got impressions during the time my banner was running
The following screenshot shows a list of all posts that got 10+ impressions. Looks like the popular theme of the moment was "gaming the system". We enjoy a scandal I guess 😂

Most posts 68 only got 1 impression but we don't know how many got zero. It could be deduced but it would take a lot of time.

I plan to run some more experiments so stay tuned!
