Hello BBS fans,
I really like the recent updates on the notifications screen. We can manage which ones we get and we can mark them as read or remove them. Great job done.
After using the new notification screen for a while, I see that it can still improve to suit my behavior on the board. Let me explain, maybe you see the same...?
In the notifications I always start from the bottom. Let's say I click on a notification saying someone left me a comment on my post. Then I go to that post, read the comment and then I also read all other comments by sorting on "newest first".
When I go back to the notifications screen, I know I can remove all notifications on comments I have already read. But today I can only do this one by one and by clicking on the three dots. I think 2 improvements could be done to this screen:
- add a checkbox in front of the notification (the three dots are quite difficult to tap on a phone, the UI is clearly made for desktop computers)
- allow to remove multiple notifications at once (after selecting some checkboxes)
Anyone who works the same and could appreciate such an update to the notification screen?
