I cannot claim my BBS rewards - staked BBS seems to be stuck

Hello there, I am not very active on BBS anymore but I do still stake my earned tokens. But now I have encountered a technical issue so I write this post to reach out for help. I hope someone has the answers to my questions. Last week it was the end of the staking period for the BBS tokens I staked in August for 2 periods. This week I went to the staking page and found this view: My first question: Shouldn't the "Restake" button be highlighted as well? Or is the image above the normal situation? Any opinion? Over to claiming my rewards then...  When I push the claim button, I get the usual pop up in Metamask to confirm the transaction, so far so good. However, when I open Metamask to check that transaction there is something weird. No transaction hash is created (cannot be found on Etherscan), I cannot cancel/speed up this transaction, it just keeps on being "pending" forever. I have tried several times now during the last days and I was never successful. I cannot claim my rewards and even worse, my staked BBS looks like it is still staked... It is not in my Metamask wallet and in the BBS staking page it is listed under "Total Staked" so I cannot touch it 🤷🏻. Who has the solution to my problem? Can the username be changed?

When I joined BBS more than a year ago, I chose a simple username and a "nickname". I was thinking that the "nickname" was going to be what was going to be displayed on this platform in conversations etc. However, the nickname is nowhere visible except when you visit someone's profile... I still don't really understand the use of it... Will it ever be possible to change the username? Is this on the release planning? Once you have made a mistake or you have chosen your username without thinking too much (like I did), it looks like you are stuck with it forever? Starting with a new account with a new name is not only against the BBS rules, also it would mean I loose all partner statuses I built up in several boards. Any other  opinions/suggestions/information from anyone? Let me know!Mar 7, 2023

Notifications: suggestion to have tickboxes or similar

Hello BBS fans, I really like the recent updates on the notifications screen. We can manage which ones we get and we can mark them as read or remove them. Great job done. After using the new notification screen for a while, I see that it can still improve to suit my behavior on the board. Let me explain, maybe you see the same...? In the notifications I always start from the bottom. Let's say I click on a notification saying someone left me a comment on my post. Then I go to that post, read the comment and then I also read all other comments by sorting on "newest first".  When I go back to the notifications screen, I know I can remove all notifications on comments I have already read. But today I can only do this one by one  and by clicking on the three dots. I think 2 improvements could be done to this screen: - add a checkbox in front of the notification (the three dots are quite difficult to tap on a phone, the UI is clearly made for desktop computers) - allow to remove multiple notifications at once (after selecting some checkboxes) Anyone who works the same and could appreciate such an update to the notification screen? Why do I get emails from communities which I am no longer part of?

Hello BBS members! Last week I received for the first time a reminder email from BBS, saying "they have missed me" in the Crypto Gaming community. This is a new feature of BBS to remind people about it and to bring them back to the communities they were active in before. When I received that email last week I immediately left that community because at the moment it is no longer funded and I have no intentions posting there any time soon. I left by clicking the "Join" button and confirming I wanted to leave. The "Join" button is again blue which is a proof that I have no longer joined that community. This week, more specifically today, I get again a reminder email from the same community: This seems to me like a bug to fix... Why do I get an email from a community which I am no longer part of? When I leave a community, I do that for a good reason and then I don't need to get any emails about it anymore.  Also why is Crypto Gaming the only community I get an email about? When are those emails sent? After how long period of inactivity? Anyone knows? All answers welcome! K_Bloemen 🌸Aug 9, 2022

Being partnered is not the only way to earn BBS tokens - check out all the competitions out there!

Hi BBS members, During the weekly chat of Sunday a topic was discussed which got me thinking... Quite many people say "I post good content but I don't get partnered". We know that maybe only 5-10% of the top contributors of a board get partnered, so even if your posts are good, you might still be not partnered. Don't let that stop you! If you are a good content creator, then go and check out all the competitions that are running on many different boards now. I see some people complaining about not being partnered, meaning they are disappointed that they cannot earn BBS tokens, yet I don't see those names participating in the different competitions to earn BBS tokens that way. To give you some overview, here are some of the competitions and giveaways I found where you can participate currently to win BBS tokens: There are probably more out there, feel free to comment the ones I forgot. Also other boards might not have a competition ongoing right now, but most of them regularly have competitions. So joining different boards of your preference and checking the pinned posts is a must to find those competitions. SUMMARY: If you are really a good content writer, then get behind your computer or phone and start posting to win those competitions! Good luck to all K_Bloemen 🌸Aug 8, 2022

Some brushing up to do 😉

Hello Bbs fans, The Great Reset has brought us a turnaround in how the boards work. This means that the original bbs website and whitepaper are no longer in line with how the boards actually work. Eyal said during one Weekly Chat that these need updating but so far they still look the same. The whitepaper still mentions “purchases” and “post owner” as vocabulary used on the boards and the whole system of partnering is not yet mentioned. I think it is becoming a bit urgent to brush up the website and whitepaper, especially when BBS wants to launch the app any time soon. It would be not ok to have an app working on other principles than what’s mentioned in the whitepaper, or? Any other opinions? K_Bloemen 🌸Jul 31, 2022

I don’t see any new order in the posts on the board?

Hi all, In the preview post following sentence attracted my attention: Posts with higher predictions are ranked higher on the board.I understood this as “posts promoted for higher numbers will be displayed first on the board”. But that doesn’t seem to be the case at all? The “new” section still shows the posts ranked from newer to older and also in the “hot” section the promotion price doesn’t seem to matter? If it worked like I thought, it would make sense to promote older posts again, but now it doesn’t… Any other opinions on this? K_Bloemen 🌸Jul 20, 2022

Is the CPM gone from the advertising banner??? No it isn't

Hi everyone! I saw some comments and posts mentioning that the "CPM was gone" from all boards. Since the new update you cannot see the CPM anymore written on the banner.  Instead you need to hover over the little circle with the letter "i" and then it magically shows: Hope that clarified some things? Does anyone else have issues to stake their BBS? Any advise?

When I select the BBS which are in my metamask (ETH wallet), and push "stake" then my metamask wallet gives following pop-up: Then when I push "sign" nothing really happens and I am sent back to the BBS staking screen. It worked the first time when I did it some months ago, and now I don't seem to be able to stake my BBS anymore... I have 0.0225 ETH in my metamask wallet. That should be enough, no? I do see a previous transaction called "Approve BBS Spend limit" of which I am not sure how this is related... Anybody who knows what I am doing wrong or who could give me advise? Weird things happening after the update…

I see strange things: - messages disappear, they do come back after a few refreshes of the page  - I cannot open a certain post where I commented on a few minutes ago. I get a grey screen and cannot use the “back” button - when I open VILLA board the last post is from 1 hour ago while others see more recent posts… What is happening here? I am missing some notifications. Anybody else has the same?

Hello BBS Family! I posted a few things earlier (on BANTER board). Later I went to check my post and I saw some new comments. I never received any notification from these comments. A few hours later I was chatting with another user and he said he also found comments where I tagged him in but he never received any notifications from these comments. Both of us still miss these notifications, they have never arrived, also not later.Does the BBS team know about this issue? I have a question - who knows the answer please?

Hello BBS family! My question is: Why are links in the live chat and in private messages not "clickable"?  I found out when I wanted to check below post from LGuigs. I never realised that you cannot click on the links in the chat because I usually work from the phone and there I don't even see the live chat... Has this question been answered yet somewhere? Does anyone know? Please send me the link to a post that explains? Is it a development that still needs to come? Or is it not clickable on purpose? If yes, why is that? K_BloemenMar 20, 2022

Multiple pinned posts needed?

Hello BBS community! We see regularly that the pinned post is changed when e.g. a new update is released. That means that the general rules of the board are only visible in the “about” section and not in the pinned post. When you work from a phone you don’t see those rules except when you explicitly look for it. This is different from a laptop, then the “about” section and the live chat are visible next to the board itself. I believe that multiple (2 or 3) pinned posts could be a solution for all mobile users. Any opinion on this? K_Bloemen 🌸Mar 17, 2022

We can expect the search function in one of the next BBS updates

Some hours ago a community member asked when finally the search function would be implemented. Here is the link to that post if you want to check it out: One of the admins answered this: So the search bar will be in one of the next updates, what a relief! But the admin also mentions “there is more”…I hope that also the “follow” function will be implemented soon so that I can get rid of my manually made list of profiles who are good content creators. How would you describe your feeling 1 day after the new update?

More than 24 hours have passed since the BBS 3.2.2 update. It brought us great features such as tipping possibilities and again earnings for post publishers. To boost the cashable balance the CPM is (temporarily) boosted to $150 and the cashout queue of some other boards was cleared. Now that you had the time to process the changes, how do you feel? 😡 I don’t like this at all ! 😴 Someone wake me up please? 🤯 Too complicated for me! 🤔 Interesting but I need to think about it  😀 I like it! 🤩 Best update ever! One thing that disappeared with the new update.

It used to be possible to right-click on someone’s username to open his/her profile in a separate tab. That functionality has gone, at least when working with a phone. You can only click on the username which opens the person’s profile page in that same tab. Sometimes you don’t want that. E.g. I regularly want to open profile pages on the side to look at them later. Was this on purpose? Or is it a little bug that will be fixed? K_Bloemen 🌸Mar 9, 2022
