Hello everyone. After almost two years in BBS Network, I want to share with you my most humble story in this platform, which I currently consider to be one of the best of its kind that I have had the privilege of knowing and working with. The purpose of this post is only to capture my past and experience on the internet in one place and thus leave an example for the newbies to follow and for the veterans a nostalgic memory of the past.

Let's start with March 2022, a time when the world of Cryptocurrencies was in full growth, close to witnessing one of the most important moments in the history of Bitcoin (reaching $65k). I, for my part, a user who had just left a small job as a Copywriter at a Spanish Youtuber's Website, was searching the internet for sites where I could earn money writing. After knowing several sites like Noise, Read and Hive, I came across BBS Network, a place that reminded me a lot of Reddit.

I started by introducing myself on METABBS as a Writter looking to share his basic knowledge of the internet world and Cryptocurrencies. Since then, I was sharing, on a daily basis, BBS token analysis posts, tips and ways to be able to improve the content that users could share on the internet at the same time in which I was learning more and more about the platform. One of the things I always liked the most about BBS Network was the possibility to be in more than one community and share content on various sites. I started on MNFTC by uploading posts about basic things in the world of Cryptocurrencies and then, with the transition, I started talking about movies, series and anime.

That's right, my content has changed a lot in this last year, going from talking about Cryptocurrencies to doing Movie, Anime and Music Reviews. Nowadays I feel calmer and happier with the content I'm sharing, despite everything. However, not everything was rosy because in BBS Network there was always its negative side, as it has been since then SPAM, Plagiarism and Fraud in the communities. When "The Great Reseat" arrived, everything changed and the platform gradually got rid of many users that only corrupted and bled the economy of the site.

This great change in BBS Network was necessary and made everything we knew about BBS Network change completely. It is no longer the same site it was two years ago, now the way in which content is shared and monetized is different. But, it is true that its principles have remained, one of the most important being to create your own community with your own rules and freedoms, a unique way of decentralization that I have seen on the Internet.

Although we are now free of all this (at least 90%) there are now much less people than before because most of the active users only came to make money on BBS Network in the least honest and fastest way possible. Many communities that were active back then are now dead, becoming a desert of Boards with ghost users. The few of us who are left hope that BBS Network will finally recover from this great downfall.

It is true that the BBS Network team has made many mistakes over the past few years, just as I and many of us have made mistakes. I personally took the liberty to correct them and improve, I also took the time to apologize and offer my help and services to those who needed it. Also, right now I have no grudge or hatred for anyone on this platform or its 10+ communities. I remain confident that BBS Network is still an excellent medium to be able to share content, create communities and earn money honestly and for free.

If I have said anything in the past that has offended any long-time user of the platform, I apologize for it completely. If I have made any mistakes in my past, I apologize and correct them right now. My doubts about the future operation of BBS Network will continue until I am shown otherwise, but my way of acting and using the platform will change if I see it necessary. Just as BBS Network is not the same as it was in 2022, I am not the same as I was then.

In BBS Network I have gained much more than I have done in other sites, I have developed as a Content Creator, I have learned a lot about how to moderate and grow a community, I have learned how to interact in the best way. I owe a lot to BBS Network and I hope that this slow return of its Development and Administrative Team will be better than earlier this year. Much is still expected from this platform, but that will be for a future post.

The past is a tangible example of what not to do in the present if we don't want to end up the same in the future. The human being has the horrible habit of forgetting, and that may apply to us or to the BBS Network Team. So I repeat these words once again: What is the goal of BBS Network? What is your vision? What do you plan to do with the platform in the next 5 or 10 years? I am still waiting for your respective answers.

We are currently more active than ever, this may be the first time we see such a close involvement of Eyal and his team with the METABBS community. But, not only that, but also for the few communities that have dropped off from a couple of years ago until now. What will the future hold for them? Will they get back their appreciation and rewards for their hard work in attracting users and generating traffic with their content and organic interactions on the platform? Or will they be replaced by new communities of groups or people that only bring visits without any organic or real interaction?
