I was wondering whether or not to do this post until the last moment, but what I have to say may be important and if I let more time pass, it will be more and more off topic...
As many know, I am a musician and I have been sharing music on BBS for a long time in different forms and boards as long as they allowed me, since some were mutating and centralizing their topics for other directions and other more successful topics were also getting EM until now. moment and the music boards were being forgotten by their members and owners too....

Until CINMAX came along and I had huge hopes at the beginning that it would be a great place to share music and grow together with a community of music lovers and sooner rather than later musicians from all over the world....

Well, maybe my expectations were a bit high, don't be cruel haha....

The truth is that I began to see that the owners and mods had a very good initiative and created great competitions, in which I participated many times, but I always saw strange things that caught my attention...
Many posts were quite simple and with little development/relevance (for my taste), and they had a very good engagement in number, but the quality of that engagement was very forced and it was noticeable that it was not very genuine....
Something that I have also experienced in my own posts, where perhaps someone made a good comment, I responded and never received another response... So it seemed at times that it was an "exchange of favors" so that later I would go to their post to make a comment... Also in my comments on other posts I rarely received a response...
The truth is, I began to report some comments that seemed very obvious to me that they had not even read the post (in a board where music is shared, they did not listen to the songs many times either)... So I lost my excitement for the board until a message arrived. event that seemed to me the best in the history of music on BBS...

The mission was to make a video/audio with your own voice singing or playing an instrument, making original music and very original content, I thought it was spectacular!!!! And it was a lot of fun, it was a complete success, with a lot of people encouraging themselves to do it and it was great!
But.....
After the contest closed, they announced the winners and it turns out that without having announced a change in the criteria for awarding the prizes, they decided to distribute the prize equally to all the participants, which made me feel completely disappointed and I clearly expressed my feeling to them, to which at first I received a mocking response from the main mod and then an explanation and "apology" but the damage was already done... I no longer trusted that team and then I saw that the antifraud team caught them cheating and it all ended suddenly.....

Many times I feel that BBS needs someone to create a music board with a responsible team and I don't dare to start it myself, due to lack of time....
I hope that soon I can find a place here to share music and discover new ones too, which I consider fundamental to my life
