Hello. I want to talk about a point that caught my attention and that KryptoKitty mentioned in his summary of the "Weekly Chat" last Sunday in the Official Twitter Space. In this meeting (which I can't participate in because I don't know English, so I have no other option but to participate through this means) the latest changes that occurred in the BBS Network platform were discussed, which was the second reduction of the CPM at $5, taking the rest of the rewards to the Community Pool for a more manual distribution to each Board. Kitty mentions that, with this reduction, Plagiarism, and Spam, the two main enemies of any social and informational platform, would be reduced by giving less economic value to the Partnership. Which, apparently, he has accomplished in the last seven days.

However, the point that caught my attention in his summary was the following: “When you invite people to a community (Board), do not explain about the rewards they could get, but tell them the potential of the network and that they are going to participate in a good project. This got me thinking and I asked myself: “Is this way of promoting BBS Network okay?” What do I mean by this? I explain. It is true that my colleague wanted to explain at this point that, instead of inviting people to one of the BBS Network communities with the mistaken idea that "they will earn a lot of money", it is better to talk about the project as "an opportunity to create and share quality content, in addition to creating a personal brand or even creating your own community”, thus highlighting its other benefits and offers.

It is true that "to a good understanding, few words". But, this does not apply to the ignorant, which are many to date. That is, not everyone knows the subject of Cryptocurrencies. Barely less than 10% of the world population knows the basics, which is already little. But, this is not the problem, the problem is that most people confuse cryptocurrencies as a "way to make money online", which leads them to the easy conclusion that it is a scam (a conclusion that can easily be reached by many taking into account that some of the most popular projects in this market ended up being a scam).

However, this can be avoided if we know how to explain to the person what BBS Network is in a good way.

✅ It is more preferable to talk about the project as: ”a platform where you can share content free of censorship in completely dynamic spaces where you can post, comment and participate in events and contests with the other members of the communities that make it up. It is also a space where you can make yourself known and grow as a Content Creator. You can even create your own community where you can share with your friends and acquaintances the topics that you like to talk about the most”.

Do you note the difference?

Now, with the subject of money, everyone is interested in money. However, the original problem with the platform is not that, but the wrong way that many try to earn money on BBS Network. Every Authentic Content Creator deserves to be rewarded for their hard work because, regardless of what others think, creating content is not an easy task. It requires time, dedication, attention, and offering a good service (which in this case would be to entertain or teach the reader through well-made publications). Writing, editing, publishing, promoting, chatting, and arguing all take time, attention, and commitment and need to be rewarded.

However, if you are one of those who prefer to upload anything, you are not active, you do not comment, you use multiple accounts to inflate the impressions and you commit constant Plagiarism and Spam, obviously you do not deserve a penny for your bad work. These types of users, unfortunately, are the “stragglers” of the members who came by a certain Crypto Youtuber who brought his community of money lovers to the BBS Network, people who don't care about creating good content or people who have come with a misconception of how to use BBS Network. Of course, it is easier to attract people by offering them the opportunity to earn money than by explaining and advising them to learn more about the project and to interact and become familiar with their communities.

The consequences of BBS Network's dark past still haunt us to this day. However, these latest changes have been crucial in bringing this war to an end. The problem? Now the platform is desolate, abandoned, and stained because of Spammers and Plagiers. But, there are still more than 7 billion people in the world to arrive.

As for money, I personally think that if you offer a thief money, he will take it out of your hands, but if you offer money to a Creator, he will offer you a very good service. It is not the same for a scammer to come to your house and make a mess and take your money as a professional to come, do a good job, and demand a reward from him. The same applies to Content Creators, those who, during these last decades, have moved large masses of people to platforms that nobody knew about and that, from one day to the next, are popular. They are the kind of people we need at BBS Network, and we can only reach them by offering a good promotion.

And finally, I remind you of the law of "supply and demand" which can be applied to BBS Network by selling itself as a censorship-free social network where you can share content and create communities. Something that, although it can be done in other more popular social networks, the restrictions and limitations that many have due to the high censorship that exists is a serious problem that many Content Creators and Communities suffer. Thus, you solve the need that many demands, offering them a space where they can get it without problems. This must always be taken into account when promoting this project.
