I have to thank Eyal and the Devs for the new update, the Channel system had far more flaws than it did benefits. Personal and off topic Channels set bad examples for new publishers about what a board’s desired content happened to be. Once the number of Channels on our board grew greater than 10-20, people stopped assigning their posts to content specific Channels and created Channels for their own content.  Which leads me to point of this post.

   With the removal of the Channel system, prolific publishers lost the only way they had to organize their varied content. They also lost the navigation path for other users to find it without having to scroll through their entire collection of work. 
    Could the Channel system be implemented through, and specific to, each user’s profile? Prolific publishers could create Channels within their profile and organize their created content using the very same Channel system we had for the post feed. 
    I have no idea if this is possible, but I know (from complaints) that this issue effects what I would think are the most valued users of BBS.
