Despite warnings from SoCal police, fireworks lit up the sky New Year's Eve.
Los Angeles: Despite warnings of the use of illegal fireworks for New Year's Eve from Police Chief Michel Moore, some Angelenos managed to still light the sky with fireworks to ring in the new year. Chief Moore stated extra patrols would be out New Year's Eve as well as New Year's Day. Safety was the Chief's primary concern, especially with the hospitals already overwhelmed with the pandemic.
