Hollywood: At 1:53 a.m., Saturday, January 2, 2021, LAFD responded to a reported multi-vehicle fire at the intersection of Van Ness and and Sunset Boulevard. One RV was fully involved in flames, the other just partially . LAPD Hollywood division officers blocked traffic north and southbound on Van Ness while crews worked to extinguish the flames. While recording the incident, an unknown male assaulted our Key News Network photographer. LAPD Hollywood division officers swiftly detained the suspect who was arrested for assault and battery against a press photographer.
Knockdown was achieved at 2:35 a.m.
