Errol Spence Jr. and Tim Tszyu clash in a career-defining showdown July 25, with Jermall Charlo and Stephen Fulton on the undercard.
The stakes could hardly be higher when Errol Spence Jr. and Tim Tszyu meet on July 25 at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney, Australia. For two fighters attempting to revive their careers after difficult setbacks, the bout feels less like a championship contest and more like a crossroads fight that could determine their futures in boxing.
The event, promoted by No Limit Boxing in association with The Rose Brothers, Man Down Promotions, and TGB Promotions, will be available worldwide on Prime Video pay-per-view, while also remaining accessible through traditional cable and satellite providers as well as PPV.com.
For Spence, the fight marks a fresh start. The former unified welterweight champion and longtime pound-for-pound standout will make his debut at junior middleweight after spending much of the last decade dominating the 147-pound division. At his peak, Spence established himself as one of boxing's elite operators, collecting victories over top names such as Kell Brook, Shawn Porter, Danny Garcia, and Mikey Garcia.
However, the last several years have been challenging for the Texas native. Two serious car accidents interrupted his momentum, and his reign at welterweight came to a dramatic end when he suffered a one-sided defeat to Terence Crawford in one of the sport's biggest fights. Since then, questions have lingered regarding how much of the old Spence remains.
Standing across the ring will be Australia's Tim Tszyu, who enters the contest facing similar career-defining questions. The son of Hall of Famer Kostya Tszyu rose through the ranks to capture the IBF junior middleweight title and appeared destined for superstardom. Wins over Terrell Gausha, Tony Harrison, and Brian Mendoza established him among the division's best fighters.
Yet consecutive losses to Sebastian Fundora and Bakhram Murtazaliev halted his ascent and forced Tszyu to reassess his career. In response, he has made significant changes to his training setup, most notably bringing Australian boxing legend Jeff Fenech into his corner as lead trainer.
With both men seeking redemption, many observers view the matchup as a winner-stays-relevant and loser-faces-serious-questions type of fight.
The card has also received a major boost with the addition of two notable undercard contests recently reported by The Ring Magazine.
Former two-division world champion Jermall Charlo will face Australia's Koen Mazoudier in what will be Charlo's second fight since returning from a lengthy absence. Charlo looked rusty but effective when he stopped Thomas LaManna in May 2025 after 15 months away from the sport. The undefeated Houston native will be looking to build momentum toward bigger opportunities at middleweight and super middleweight.
Another former world champion, Stephen Fulton, will take on Australian contender Liam Wilson. Fulton remains one of boxing's most skilled technicians despite suffering a disappointing decision loss to O'Shaquie Foster in his most recent outing. Wilson, meanwhile, enters the fight riding a five-fight winning streak and will be eager to score the biggest victory of his career in front of his home fans.
While the undercard offers plenty of intrigue, the spotlight remains firmly on Spence and Tszyu. On July 25, two former champions will step into the ring looking to prove they still belong among boxing's elite—and only one can leave with renewed momentum.
