The American team analyzed its relationship with Ferrari in Formula 1 and stated that the Italian team’s technical supply continues to be a key foundation for its project in the category.

The relationship between Haas and Ferrari has been one of the structural elements of the American team’s project in Formula 1. Since entering the category, the team has built its sporting model around the technical supply from the Italian brand, a strategy that continues to be central to its competitive development.

In that context, the team’s leadership made it clear that there are no internal concerns about that collaboration. For Haas, the alliance with Ferrari does not represent a problem within its structure, but rather an advantage that allows the project to be sustained in an increasingly demanding championship.

Gene Haas, founder of the team, explained clearly how he perceives the relationship with the Italian manufacturer. The American businessman highlighted that Ferrari has been a key partner since the beginning of the team’s adventure in Formula 1.

“Ferrari has been very good to us. They have been with us since day one,” he said while analyzing the connection between the two structures.

The executive also emphasized the technical value of that cooperation. According to him, the team receives fundamental components from the Italian manufacturer, including mechanical elements that are part of the overall performance of the car.

“They build incredible engines and their suspension is extremely good,” he said while describing the quality of the technical material Ferrari supplies to the American team.

Within the paddock, the closeness between the two structures has been the subject of debate at different times. However, Haas believes that its operating model is an efficient way to compete in a championship where technological development requires ever greater resources.

Gene Haas himself made it clear that the team does not see that relationship as a limitation. On the contrary, the goal is to make the most of the available resources to improve sporting performance.

“We use many of their parts and they work very well,” he explained while referring to the performance of the technical package the team receives from Maranello.

Beyond that support, the businessman was also self-critical about the team’s recent performance. Haas acknowledged that, at certain moments, the results achieved on track have not lived up to the technical material available.

“I am embarrassed by our performance, we could do better with that material,” he admitted while evaluating the team’s competitiveness during certain stages of the championship.

That analysis reflects the internal demands that exist within the structure. For Haas, the objective is not only to have a strong technical foundation, but to translate that potential into concrete results during races.

The team’s strategy is to maximize the performance of the overall package by using Ferrari’s technical supply as the starting point for the car’s development.

Ultimately, the American team does not contemplate changes to that partnership. From its perspective, cooperation with Ferrari remains one of the pillars that sustain its presence in Formula 1.

With the season progressing and the development of the cars evolving race after race, the challenge for Haas will be to turn that technical foundation into more consistent results within the middle of the grid.
