The American team will change the black for white on Checo Pérez and Bottas's cars. The front wing will feature 50 stars, one for each state, and the drivers will also debut special suits for the first home race.
Cadillac is preparing for a special weekend. The American team, in its debut season in Formula 1, will face its first home race from May 1 to 3: the Miami Grand Prix, and for the occasion, the team has prepared an exclusive livery that evokes the patriotic spirit of the land of the stars and stripes.
The new design, which will be worn by Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas, represents a radical change compared to the car they have used in the first three rounds of the championship, Cadillac will abandon the predominant black to dress its cars in white, with multiple stars and stripes reminiscent of the United States flag.
The inspiration comes from the past Super Bowl, during edition LX, held in February 2026, the brand already showed a two tone black and white scheme in an advertisement, now, that same livery materializes on the asphalt, although with an added particularity: the front wing will include a detail with 50 stars, one for each state of the country: "We combined the team's recognizable identity with a touch of national pride," the team explained in a statement.
The rear wing is not far behind either, it will incorporate the letters "USA" in the red, white and blue colors of the flag "as a subtle but clear statement of pride in the team's origins." Cassidy Towriss, Cadillac's brand advisor, defended the aesthetic bet: "This livery is a natural extension and speaks without excess. It is deliberate and confident. This is our first home race and it was important that fans continue to recognize what they already know," she stated.
The patriotic display will not be limited to the cars, Checo Pérez and Valtteri Bottas will also wear special suits during the weekend, the new overalls will incorporate "expressive notes of American identity, combined with sober and elegant pride" as detailed by the team.
Drew Cukor, president of TWG, Cadillac's partner, highlighted the relevance of the moment: "Miami is a key moment for the team, and we are proud that our name is on the car for this occasion. This new livery is more than a design: it is a statement of identity and intention. It celebrates the shared heritage of two American brands united by a relentless drive to push boundaries and innovate" he concluded.
Cadillac arrives in Miami without having scored points in the first three races, but with high morale after having exceeded the most pessimistic predictions. Now, with a special livery that evokes the Super Bowl spirit, they will seek to open their scoring account at home.
