The Argentine arrives at the street circuit with the confidence of having scored points in Madrid. He acknowledges that the Azerbaijani layout combines speed and close walls and trusts in taking advantage of every opportunity to keep climbing in the championship.

Franco Colapinto faces the Azerbaijan Grand Prix with optimism, the fifteenth event of the calendar and one of the most demanding of the year. The Argentine Alpine driver, who comes from scoring important points in Madrid, has clear what his objective is for the weekend at the Baku street circuit: maintain the level of performance he showed in Spain and capitalize on every opportunity that presents itself.

"I'm really looking forward to returning to Baku for what we hope will be another competitive race weekend. We maximized the result in Madrid and I was very happy to close the European stage by scoring important points" Colapinto declared ahead of the Grand Prix. The Argentine who finished seventh at the Madring and scored six points for Alpine arrives in Azerbaijan with high morale and the confidence of having found the right path with the A526.

The Baku circuit presents characteristics that make it a unique challenge. Its long straights, combined with narrow urban sections and very close walls, demand precise driving and intelligent energy management: "The Baku circuit is another high-speed layout that combines urban sections and very close walls; our objective will be to transfer to this weekend the level of performance we showed in Spain" explained the driver.

The season enters a phase of great activity, with several consecutive races that can define the final positions of the championship. Aware of this, Colapinto stressed the importance of making the most of every opportunity: "We're entering a phase of a lot of activity in the coming weeks so it's crucial to make the most of all the opportunities that arise and Baku has historically offered a lot of excitement. We'll work hard to place ourselves in the best possible position to capitalize on those moments and look for another spot in the top ten while we keep chasing our rivals in the championship" he added.

Alpine's performance has experienced a notable improvement in the last races, the introduction of the update package that Pierre Gasly debuted in Zandvoort and that Colapinto received in Monza has allowed the French team to make a leap in quality. The Argentine has known how to adapt quickly to the new pieces and has taken advantage of the car's potential to score points regularly, Baku will be a new test to confirm that progression.

Colapinto's season has been a roller coaster, after a complicated start, the Argentine has been finding his place in Alpine and has demonstrated why he deserves a seat in Formula 1. His performances on circuits as diverse as Madrid and Baku two radically different layouts, will be key to consolidating his position in the team and to attracting the attention of other teams.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix will be held from Thursday to Saturday, an unusual format that adds an extra element of difficulty: The teams will have less time to adapt to the circuit and the strategies will be more risky.

Colapinto is aware of this and trusts in his ability to adapt, adds to the team's work to maximize the result. His objective is clear: score points, keep scoring and demonstrate that Alpine is on the right path to fight for greater objectives in the future.
