French driver Esteban Ocon put in several good performances while in Haas uniform.

Esteban Ocon himself has confirmed that he will be leaving the Haas F1 Team after the 2026 season. It's a short stint that was overshadowed by an unreliable car and, frankly, an intra-team battle that hasn't gone in Ocon's favor.

Ocon does remain defiant that his F1 journey hasn't ended yet, and that he's still one of the best drivers on the grid.

And despite his struggles against his younger teammate, Oliver Bearman, Ocon did produce some good drives for Haas. Let's look back at the Frenchman's best races for the American outfit since joining the team in 2025.

5. 2026 Monaco Grand Prix - P9

A botched qualifying run forced Ocon to start at P17 in Monte Carlo. Overtaking is very difficult on this street circuit, so the Frenchman's chance of scoring points looked bleak at best.

But Ocon made up places slowly and steadily, and he found himself in P13 before Aston Martin's Lance Stroll binned his car on Lap 60. Then, Ocon made up another place after Ferrari's Charles Leclerc crashed on Lap 66. At the end of the race, Ocon found himself in P9 after further penalties to his rivals bumped him up.

4. 2025 Bahrain Grand Prix - P8

The weekend didn't start great for Ocon, as he crashed at Turn 2 during Q2 on Saturday. He started P14 for the race, but managed to make an aggressive recovery. He started on the soft tyres, gained places, then opted for the undercut with an early pit stop for the mediums on Lap 8.

He made his final stop on Lap 27, but Ocon was already in the points by then. A late Safety Car compromised his position, but he still finished P8 in the race.

3. 2025 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix - P7

Heading into the final race of 2025, Ocon faced the harsh reality of trailing his rookie teammate in the standings. He had to make a strong statement before the year ended, and he sure did at Abu Dhabi.

Ocon put up a strong qualifying effort, advancing to Q3 to qualify eighth for the race. He dropped to ninth after Lap 1, then rejoined in P16 when he pitted for the hard tyres on Lap 18.  He worked through the traffic and held off a charging Lewis Hamilton to finish in seventh place.

It was a clean recovery drive for the French driver.

2. 2026 Azerbaijan Grand Prix - P8

Coming into Baku amidst dark clouds over his 2027 future, Ocon started on the right foot by qualifying 10th on the street circuit. On race day, he avoided the barrier brushes and midfield incidents that claimed several drivers in front of him.

Ocon was fighting for P7 until the end, but he was pipped by Racing Bulls' Arvid Lindblad at the line. Still, his P8 finish at Baku was his best drive of the year so far.

1. 2025 Chinese Grand Prix - P5

In only his second race weekend for Haas, Ocon spearheaded a double-points finish for the team. He actually started P11 for the race, but finished P7 after a long second stint on the hard tyres.

But the good news didn't stop there for the Frenchman.

After the race, both Ferrari drivers in front of him were disqualified for separate violations, bumping Ocon to fifth place. It was the best result of Ocon's short-lived tenure at Haas.
