Here's the biggest storyline for each of the 11 Formula 1 teams heading into the 2026 Singapore Grand Prix in Marina Bay.

Formula 1 is back in Singapore for an exciting night race in the streets of Marina Bay. Drivers will have to navigate hot and humid conditions here, plus a chance of rain this weekend.

Each team also heads into Singapore with a major storyline hovering over their heads.

Mercedes - How much can Antonelli extend his championship lead?

We won't even talk about how possible it is for George Russell to control the damage of him taking a hefty grid penalty. Right now, it's almost impossible for him to chase teammate Kimi Antonelli in the championship. It's now about how much Antonelli can extend his championship lead and how soon he can get it.

Ferrari - Does the track truly suit their car?

Singapore's short straights, heavy braking zones, and low-to-medium-speed corners could reduce the impact of Ferrari's power unit deficit. This might be their best recent chance to win a race since Charles Leclerc emerged victorious in Silverstone.

Williams' recent upgrades might suit Marina Bay better, especially the track's high downforce, short straights, and traction zones. They must take full advantage of the lone practice session to understand their car and set it up better.

Aston Martin - Can they build on their momentum from Sepang?

Fernando Alonso's P8 finish in Malaysia gave Aston Martin their best haul of points in 2026. Is it just a fluke amidst the chaos that happened in Sepang? We'll see in Singapore.

Until they score their first point, Cadillac's chase to score for the first time will always be their key storyline every race. The Safety Car probability is historically high in Singapore, giving Cadillac a better shot at finishing in the points.
