Ferrari and Aston Martin are the latest F1 teams to bring new liveries to the United States Grand Prix.
Ferrari's SF-26 and Aston Martin's AMR26 are the latest cars to bring new liveries to the 2026 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix. They join the teams with new liveries this weekend, a growing list that includes Haas, Cadillac, and Mercedes.
Indeed, the teams are turning the festivities up a notch in Austin.
But as for Ferrari and Aston Martin, their new car designs are connected to their valued partner brands.
Ferrari develops a blueprint livery with HP
The Scuderia didn't change much of their car's colors, but they transformed the engine cover, air intake, and surrounding white panels into a living blueprint. One could see detailed technical sketches, power-unit schematics, gearbox and differential outlines, and other kinds of engineering drawings from afar.
Normally, these are the kinds of work that stays hidden in the design office or on a CAD screen until the bodywork closes over it.
Ferrari confirmed that they collaborated with HP specialists to use the HP Latex technology in producing this blueprint-style livery.
HP, an American brand, became Ferrari's title partner in 2024. Hence, the Scuderia Ferrari HP name.
This isn't the first time that Ferrari produced a new livery this season. In their home race at Monza, they painted more red on the car for a Michael Schumacher-inspired livery. However, it wasn't a good race for the Prancing Horse, with Charles Leclerc crashing out early and Lewis Hamilton settling for a sixth-place finish.
Aston Martin puts on more Cognizant branding
Aston Martin also delivers a new livery, although with just a subtle change. To mark five years of partnership with Cognizant, the AMR26 puts on a light blue color across the front wing, nose, and sidepod areas. The Cognizant branding is seen in these blue zones.
Like HP, Cognizant is also an American company. Aston Martin brought in Cognizant as their title sponsor from 2021 to 2023. Even though that title sponsorship has ended, Cognizant still serves as a strategic and digital partner for the Silverstone-based outfit.
This Cognizant-connected design is Aston Martin's second one-off livery this season. They produced the "From Rock to Racetrack" livery at the Monaco Grand Prix to celebrate their partnership with Maaden. The AMR26 wore gold and copper tones on the front end, extending towards the rear.
Interestingly, Aston Martin scored their first championship point of the season in Monaco, with Fernando Alonso finishing P10. Let's see if the team can score another this weekend. Maybe their one-off liveries hold a special kind of luck.
