Here are the reported upgrades that each F1 team will bring to Monza.
The heat hazard won't stop Formula One from racing in the Temple of Speed. It's Ferrari's home race this weekend, but will the Tifosi go home happy? On paper, the Prancing Horse has a couple of upgrades that could make them formidable in the 2026 F1 Italian Grand Prix at Monza.
Mercedes - 425 championship points
With Ferrari and McLaren hot on their heels, this is a very important weekend for the championship-leading Mercedes. They don't have a major upgrade package, but they're bringing two circuit-specific ones. To reduce drag in a low-downforce circuit like Monza, Mercedes is removing winglet devices from their rear wing.
Ferrari - 338 points
The home team is bringing four circuit-specific upgrades, including their second Additional Development and Upgrade Opportunities (ADUO) power unit upgrade. They also gave both drivers a revised floor board, along with trims in the car to reduce drag. This combination of aerodynamic changes and PU development could put Ferrari in prime position to take the win.
McLaren - 263 points
Having won the last two races, McLaren is hungry for more. They're bringing a unique take on their rear wing, which is called the "H-wing". Moreover, the Silverstone-based team has upgraded their flow to improve airflow and reduce drag.
Red Bull - 186 points
Like Ferrari, Red Bull Racing has brought four changes, including a revised front wing endplate. They also updated their rear corner bodywork and exhaust tailpipe bracket, both of which can improve the car's reliability. Let's see if Max Verstappen and Liam Lawson can extract more performance from the RB26.
Racing Bulls - 66 points
The Racing Bulls have revised their rear wing and exhaust tailpipe. These two circuit-specific upgrades should help them gain more straight-line speed at Monza.
Alpine - 63 points
There's not much going on in the Alpine garage, as they just made minor changes to their front wing endplate. They might be targeting more improvement in other races to close the gap to Racing Bulls in the midfield.
Haas - 21 points
Haas potentially has the biggest upgrade package in the midfield. Both drivers are getting a major aerodynamic upgrade, although only Oliver Bearman will get the new Ferrari ADUO2 power unit. Since Ferrari can only provide one upgraded PU, Esteban Ocon has to make do with the older specifications.
Audi - 16 points
Curiously, Audi is not bringing any upgrades to Monza. But they have scored points in the last four races, so they might still have a good car on their garage.
Williams - 11 points
The Grove-based outfit focused on efficiency at Monza, having revised their halo geometry, front wing, and floor board. They might not have the elite topspeed they had in recent years, but the Williams drivers might have a more balanced car this weekend.
Aston Martin - 3 points
To improve aero efficiency, Aston Martin has made changes to their front suspension and floor edge. It's not a substantial package, as their engine remains the more interesting question mark.
Cadillac - no points
Cadillac has revised their floor board and introduced a new diffuser vane. These upgrades might only lead to small gains for Cadillac, who hasn't scored yet this season.
