The Briton makes a strong self-criticism after the incident with Piastri in Singapore and promises to learn from his failures.

Lando Norris faces the United States Grand Prix with a clear mission: to leave behind the mistakes that cost him valuable points in Singapore and return to the path of good results. The British McLaren driver has made a deep self-criticism about the incident he starred in with his teammate, Oscar Piastri, at Marina Bay and has assumed his responsibility with a maturity that reflects his commitment to the team.

"I acknowledge my mistakes and learn from them, this team is my motivation every weekend and my objective is to reward everyone's hard work by improving, making better decisions and representing the team in the best possible way" Norris declared in the preview of the Texan event. The Briton was the protagonist of a crash with Piastri in the last laps of the Singapore race, an incident that left both drivers out of the fight for the honor positions and that generated an intense debate about the management of internal rivalry at McLaren.

Norris has wanted to turn the page and focus on what is to come, the Woking driver knows that the team needs to score important points in the final stretch of the season to ensure its position in the constructors' championship and is determined to contribute with his best version. His self-criticism is not a simple gesture but a sign of his evolution as a driver and of his ability to assume responsibility in difficult moments.

Andrea Stella, McLaren team boss, also referred to the points lost in the last events: "After a complicated triple header, we take the lessons learned from our performance and execution and put them into practice, in F1 success is never guaranteed so our response is to keep building, keep developing and keep moving forward together as a single team" Stella stressed. The Italian director has been a firm defender of internal unity and has worked so that his drivers understand that the team's interests must be above individual ambitions.
