Movements continue on the grid ahead of the upcoming championship

Ferrari announced changes to its driver lineup for the 2026 Formula 1 World Championship. The Scuderia has announced that Zhou Guanyu will no longer be part of the team as a reserve driver from 2026.

The team confirmed the news via social media posts. The first was a thank you for his commitment during the season: “We are grateful for Zhou Guanyu's dedication and contribution as Ferrari's reserve driver this season. We wish him all the best in his future endeavors.”

The second post shared a video featuring some of his most memorable moments, showing him working hard, enjoying himself alongside Leclerc, and having fun with the social media team. Following the signing of Lewis Hamilton in January 2025, Ferrari confirmed Zhou as the third addition to complete the lineup after his departure from Sauber.

The Asian driver has now been confirmed as joining Cadillac F1, the team of Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas, as a reserve driver for the 2026 season. This role is filled by drivers who serve as reserves in case one of the main drivers is unavailable to compete due to an issue.

How much money has Charles Leclerc earned at Ferrari?

Charles Leclerc has been in Formula 1 for eight seasons, and here we'll tell you how much he has earned at Ferrari based on the salary he has signed in his contract with Scuderia Maranello.

According to a publication by EL CEO, a media outlet specializing in business, the Monegasque driver will earn $34 million for the 2024 and 2025 seasons with Scuderia. In 2023, he earned $19 million, but in 2021 and 2022, he earned $12 million. In total, throughout his career in the top flight, he has earned a salary of $129 million.

However, we should note that this is only his salary, excluding bonuses or payments made by individual and team sponsors. Remember that Charles made his F1 debut with Sauber in 2018, but since 2019, he has been racing with the Maranello team in the hope of winning the Drivers' Championship.
