Cadillac unveils a fresh, American-inspired livery for Pérez and Bottas at their home Miami Grand Prix, celebrating heritage and innovation.
Sergio Pérez and Valtteri Bottas will take to the track at the upcoming Miami Grand Prix in a significantly different livery to the one they have raced in earlier this season. Cadillac has announced that, for the first time, the team will update its visual identity for an official race weekend in Formula 1.
For the American outfit, this weekend carries special meaning — it will be their first home race in the series. Worth noting that Formula 1 features three races on U.S. soil, and beyond Miami, the calendar still includes the United States Grand Prix in Austin and the Las Vegas Grand Prix.
As part of the celebration surrounding this milestone, Cadillac confirmed that both Checo Pérez and Valtteri Bottas will carry a special livery during the 2026 Miami Grand Prix weekend. While the design doesn't feature radical changes, it incorporates subtle nods to the team's American roots and has been developed in partnership with TWG AI.
This is not the first time Cadillac has embraced a unique look. The team debuted a special design during the pre-season shakedown at the start of the current campaign. In keeping with a growing trend across the F1 paddock, the expectation is that the team will continue rolling out special liveries at select races throughout the year.
What Did Cadillac Say About Their Special Miami Livery?
In an official statement published on the team's website, Cadillac's leadership shared their thoughts on the distinctive look they will carry into the 2026 Miami Grand Prix.
Cassidy Towriss, Head of Brand, said: "The Cadillac Formula 1 Team's Miami Grand Prix livery is a natural extension — and it speaks without excess. It's deliberate and confident. This is our first home race, and it was important to us that fans still recognize what they know. I can't wait for the crowd to see it on track for the first time. There's no place like home."
Drew Cukor, President of TWG AI, added: "Miami is a landmark moment for the team, and we're proud to have our name on the car for it. This new design for our first American race is more than a livery — it's a statement of identity and intent."
"It celebrates the shared heritage of two American brands coming together, united by a relentless drive to push boundaries and innovate. That synergy is what makes this partnership so special, and this livery is a bold reflection of the ambition and forward-thinking spirit that TWG AI brings to the team."
