

As Yuki Tsunoda closes the final chapter of his time under the Red Bull, Formula One says goodbye to the Japanese driver for now. Tsunoda has accomplished many things in his Formula One career that many dream of achieving, this is Yuki Tsunoda.
Yuki Tsunoda entered Formula One in 2021 under Alpha Tauri (now known as Racing Bulls) after a standout Formula 2 campaign, where he finished third in the championship, he was seen as Japan’s brightest hope in decades. Tsunoda shocked fans with his aggressive driving style and overtakes. Although, the effects of Formula One began to take place, Tsunoda began to have troubles with consistency, he had some pretty high profile crashes, and very frequent radio outbursts. Critics found his behavior immature, and some said he wasn't ready for Formula One just yet
It was now or never for Yuki Tsunoda, while reporters suggested that he improves his discipline, the RedBull team were reconsidering what to do with him. While others might drown in the stress, and let themselves be defined by the negativity, Yuki decided to act, and improve. Midway through the season, he was pushed to change his approach, both mentally and technically. The impact was noticeable. In the second half of the season, Tsunoda reduced mistakes, showed stronger qualifying form, and delivered cleaner race weekends.
By the end of his rookie season, Tsunoda had scored points in seven races and firmly justified his place on the grid. But, most importantly he proved he was capable of learning from his own mistakes, adapting and working well under pressure. Improving on qualities that would define the rest of his career with AlphaTauri and the Red Bull family.
Over the course of his Formula One career, Tsunoda quietly built an impressive resume, scoring points across multiple seasons and consistently outperforming with midfield machinery. He outlasted several teammates within the Red Bull system, establishing himself as a reliable reference point for car development and race execution.
Although we never got to see Tsunoda on the podium, he gathered up 124 career points and 111 races entered.
Tsunoda's career stands as a reminder that success in the sport is not defined solely by championships or podiums. As Tsunoda looks toward the future...whether continuing in Formula One, or possibly leading a new project, like starting his dream of opening a restaurant, many great things are to come for Yuki Tsunoda. This is not the end for him.
