Editor-in-Chief Tom Brew welcomes you to GolfRoundtable.

We put a tee in the ground, plop down a golf ball and rip a drive down the first fairway with a smile on our face. Those are the best days.

Because we love golf. Millions of us. We love to play, whenever we can, whether it's at our local club — which is Innisbrook Golf Resort in Palm Harbor, Fla. for me — or our local public course from coast to coast.

We also love to watch, too. The best golfers in the world are a pure treat, especially on the grandest of stages. And we get that next week with the 2025 Ryder Cup. It happens once every two years, the United States vs. Europe, and it's my favorite event on the professional golf calendar.

It starts next Friday (Sept. 26), and it's three days of great golf, off-the-charts emotion and endless revelry. So it seems like the perfect time to launch our golf website here on Roundtable Sports. We're going to cover the heck out of the Ryder Cup out of the gate, and we've got a lot of other great stuff planned for the 2026 golf campaign at all levels.

We're looking forward to wall-to-wall coverage of the PGA Tour. We have plans to cover LIV Golf and the LPGA Tour as well, as well as the best amateur events.

And much like all of our other Roundtable sites, we want this to be all about you as a reader. So we're going to have content on instruction to help improve your game, and we're also going to want you to share your best stuff in our community section.

That's all about YOU! So hit the ''JOIN'' button and tell us what you're thinking and what you're doing.

We have another fun section on the site, and that's TRAVEL. This is where you get to entertain us as well. Golf trips are what makes the game great, and for a lot of us, there's an annual trip that's always the best week on the calender.

I have one of those. We have a family event — the Brew Cup — every year in Biloxi, Miss. and neighboring areas the first week in March. We've been going every year since 2004, with just two exceptions, the spring after Hurricane Katrina destroyed our beloved Gulf Coast getaway and in 2021 when the COVID-19 pandemic limited travel for a lot of our group of 24-28 people. (We snuck in the 2020 Brew Cup the week before the pandemic hit.)

We want to hear about your trips, too! We'll let you write about it and share photos and videos. That's going to be the FUN part of all of this.

We'd love to hear about your one-off golf moments, too. We all have bucket list items, and for me, playing at Pebble Beach was always a dream. I finally accomplished that in August, playing Pebble for the first time on Aug. 13. We also played Poppy Hills the next day, and our three days and two nights on the Monterey Peninsula was just incredible. I'll tell you all about it soon — and we want to hear your stories too.

So enjoy the ride. And be a part of it.
