Ogden gets a loaded Utah Championship field featuring PGA TOUR winners, rising stars, a $1 million purse and serious promotion pressure this week in Utah today.

The 2026 Utah Championship isn’t arriving quietly. The Korn Ferry Tour rolls into Ogden Golf & Country Club with a field packed with PGA TOUR winners, proven champions and young players trying to force their way onto golf’s biggest stage.

The 156-player field will chase a $1 million purse on a 7,097-yard, par-70 layout that has produced plenty of fireworks over the years.

With $180,000 going to the winner and only eight tournaments remaining after this week, every birdie carries extra weight.

Ryan Palmer and Martin Laird headline the veteran presence with four PGA TOUR victories apiece.

Chesson Hadley and Robby Shelton bring four Korn Ferry Tour wins each, while defending champion Julian Suri returns alongside former Utah winners Roger Sloan and Andrew Kozan.

But the real tension surrounds the players battling for position on the Korn Ferry Tour Points List.

Hunter Eichhorn enters fifth in the standings after recording a Tour-leading eight top-10 finishes.

He still hasn’t won this season, but his consistency has made him one of the strongest promotion candidates in the field.

Dylan Menante has climbed to seventh after finishing runner-up at the Evans Scholars Invitational.

He already owns a victory at the Tulum Championship and has turned his second Korn Ferry Tour season into a legitimate PGA TOUR push.

Tommy Morrison may be the hottest name in Ogden. The 21-year-old former Texas standout won last week and has finished inside the top 10 in all four of his Korn Ferry Tour starts.

Even more impressive, Morrison has fired 15 consecutive rounds in the 60s.

That’s not just a hot streak. That’s a warning to the rest of the field.

Ross Steelman is surging, too. He won The Blue Championship, then followed it with a third-place finish last week to move into fourth on the points list.

Ryo Ishikawa adds international star power. The 20-time Japan Golf Tour winner has four top-15 finishes in his last seven starts and is trying to earn his way back to the PGA TOUR for the first time since the 2016-17 season.

Blades Brown, ranked No. 98 in the world, is the highest-ranked player in the field and gives the tournament another rising attraction.

The Utah Championship has been producing PGA TOUR talent since John Daly won the inaugural event in 1990.

Zach Johnson, Brendon Todd, Cameron Champ and Karl Vilips are among the former champions who later won on TOUR.

This week in Ogden, another career could change in a hurry.
