Brady Siravo’s bogey-free 64 forced a three-way tie with Thomas Ponder and Mason Williams atop the Explore NB Open leaderboard at 13 under entering Saturday.
Brady Siravo isn’t wasting any time making noise as a professional.
In only his second start since leaving Pepperdine, Siravo ripped through Mactaquac Golf Course with a bogey-free, 7-under 64 on Friday, muscling his way into a share of the Explore NB Open lead in Fredericton, New Brunswick.
Siravo sits at 13 under alongside Thomas Ponder and Mason Williams after two rounds. The trio owns a one-shot advantage over a crowded pack of five players heading into the weekend.
Not even a lengthy weather interruption could cool Siravo down. Play was halted at 7:51 a.m. local time due to dangerous conditions, then resumed nearly two hours later at 9:45 a.m.
Once the course reopened, Siravo played like someone who had been waiting all morning to attack.
The Sacramento native recently completed his college career at Pepperdine, where he won twice and captured the 2024 West Coast Conference individual championship.
He also earned three All-WCC First Team honors before finishing No. 22 in the PGA Tour University Class of 2026, securing PGA Tour Americas status for the summer.
Williams will join Siravo in Saturday’s final pairing after firing a 6-under 65.
The former Georgia Southern standout has already collected four top-20 finishes and two third-place results this season. He entered the tournament ranked No. 12 on the PGA Tour Americas Points List.
Ponder, meanwhile, backed up an opening-round 63 with a 5-under 66. He leads the tour with five top-10 finishes and began the week ranked fourth in points.
Siravo may be the newcomer, but he’s suddenly staring down two of the tour’s most consistent players with the pressure rising and the weekend spotlight squarely on him.
