Jordan Smith leads the Charles Schwab Challenge at 10-under as Colonial heads into a loaded weekend on CBS, Golf Channel and ESPN+.

The Charles Schwab Challenge is headed into the weekend with Jordan Smith in control, Colonial Country Club ready to bite back, and a packed TV schedule waiting for golf fans.

Smith, a rookie, grabbed the 36-hole lead at 10-under after two sharp rounds in Fort Worth.

But this isn’t some runaway yet.

Brian Harman, Hideki Matsuyama, Michael Thorbjornsen and Ryan Gerard are all one shot back at 9-under, while U.S. Open champion J.J. Spaun sits firmly in the chase at 8-under.

That’s a dangerous leaderboard on a course built to punish impatience.

Colonial is one of the PGA Tour’s classic stops, and it doesn’t reward careless power.

Players have to shape shots, control spin and survive a course framed by tight trees and demanding angles.

With Memorial Tournament spots still available through the Aon Swing 5 and Aon Next 10, the pressure isn’t just about this week’s trophy.

There’s plenty at stake beyond Sunday.

Fans can watch Saturday coverage from 1-3:30 p.m. ET on Golf Channel, then 3-6:30 p.m. ET on CBS. Sunday coverage runs from 1-3 p.m. ET on Golf Channel and 3-6 p.m. ET on CBS.

PGA TOUR LIVE on ESPN+ will carry full streaming coverage Saturday from 8:30 a.m.-6:30 p.m. ET and Sunday from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. ET.

The four-stream setup includes the main feed, marquee group, featured groups and featured holes.

Saturday’s marquee group is a good one ... Robert MacIntyre, Justin Thomas and J.T. Poston at 10:31 a.m. ET. Featured groups include Max Homa, Max McGreevy and Nico Echavarria at 9:31 a.m., plus Sahith Theegala, Taylor Moore and Michael Kim at 9:58 a.m.

Featured holes will focus on Nos. 4, 8, 13 and 16, all par 3s.

Smith has the lead. Colonial has the teeth. Now comes the weekend.
