Scottie Scheffler, Rory McIlroy and golf’s biggest stars hit TPC Southwind. Here’s how to watch the $20 million FedEx St. Jude Championship.
The FedEx St. Jude Championship arrives at TPC Southwind in Memphis with the PGA TOUR’s biggest names, a $20 million purse and one of the most compelling opening rounds of the postseason.
TPC Southwind will stretch to 7,288 yards and play as a par 70, where trouble can arrive quickly and aggressive golf can turn expensive in a hurry. Defending champion Justin Rose returns after winning the 2025 tournament at 16-under par, but he’ll have plenty of company trying to take the trophy away.
The first major jolt came Thursday morning.
Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy are paired together at 9:30 a.m. ET, giving fans a heavyweight matchup before lunch. Just ahead of them, Tommy Fleetwood and Jordan Spieth tee off at 9:10, followed by Tom Kim and Ludvig Åberg at 9:20.
That’s not exactly easing into the week.
Thursday afternoon brings another loaded wave. Ryan Fox and Adam Scott go at 1:25 p.m., Xander Schauffele and Sam Burns follow at 1:35, and Cameron Young and Collin Morikawa begin at 1:45.
Friday’s streaming lineup shifts the spotlight to another group of contenders. Chris Gotterup and Min Woo Lee start at 9:10 a.m., followed by recent winner Michael Brennan and Rose at 9:20. Wyndham Clark and Matt Fitzpatrick round out the morning marquee coverage at 9:30.
The afternoon includes Russell Henley with Rickie Fowler, Justin Thomas alongside Si Woo Kim, and a 1:45 pairing of Viktor Hovland and Hideki Matsuyama.
Fans looking to follow virtually everything can start early.
PGA TOUR LIVE on the ESPN App begins at 7:45 a.m. ET Thursday through Sunday and runs until 6 p.m., offering a main broadcast, marquee-group coverage, featured groups and a betting-focused featured-hole stream. Holes Nos. 14 and 16 will receive featured coverage Thursday and Friday.
Traditional television coverage Thursday and Friday begins with ESPN from 9-11 a.m., followed by Golf Channel from 2-6 p.m.
Saturday moves to Golf Channel from 1-3 p.m. before CBS takes over from 3-6 p.m. Sunday features Golf Channel from noon-2 p.m., with CBS carrying the finish from 2-6 p.m.
There’s no shortage of star power, and with Scheffler and McIlroy sharing the stage immediately, the FedEx St. Jude Championship isn’t wasting any time turning up the heat in Memphis.
