Jeeno Thitikul, Hyo Joo Kim and Miyu Yamashita lead a deep LPGA field into Hawaii for the $3 million LOTTE Championship at Hoakalei.
The LPGA Tour heads to Hawaii this week for the LOTTE Championship presented by Hoakalei, and the field at Hoakalei Country Club is loaded with star power, recent winners and young talent trying to make a late-season move.
World No. 2 Jeeno Thitikul headlines the 120-player field in Ewa Beach after an outstanding 2026 season that already includes three victories.
She’ll be joined by Hyo Joo Kim, ranked No. 4 in the world, and No. 5 Miyu Yamashita, giving the tournament three of the top five players in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.
Defending champion Youmin Hwang also returns after winning here last year on a sponsor exemption. The field includes five former LOTTE champions in Hwang, A Lim Kim, Grace Kim, Hyo Joo Kim and Lydia Ko.
There’s plenty of recent momentum in the group as well.
Yuna Nishimura arrives fresh off her first LPGA Tour victory at the Walmart NW Arkansas Championship, while Thitikul, Hyo Joo Kim, Yamashita, Hannah Green and Yana Wilson are among the six players in the field who have already won on Tour this season.
The tournament also offers a strong look at the LPGA’s next wave. Twenty-one of the 28 rookies from the 2026 class are scheduled to compete, including Mimi Rhodes, Carolina Chacarra, Yana Wilson and defending champion Hwang.
Local interest should be strong too.
Hawaii natives Allisen Corpuz, Brittany Fan and Tagiralani Luafalealo are all in the field, giving fans on Oahu several home-state players to follow.
The stakes are substantial. Players are competing for a $3 million purse and 500 Race to the CME Globe points, with the event running Oct. 1-4 at Hoakalei Country Club.
With elite players at the top and a deep group of rookies and recent winners behind them, the LOTTE Championship has the ingredients for one of the more competitive fields of the fall.
And if last year proved anything, it’s that this event can reward both established stars and fearless newcomers.
